If you are still confused with choosing a niche and if you are still having difficulty choosing a targeted niche, I want take you through a very simplest approach that will guide you to choosing very targeted and profitable niches within a minute. It’s just a matter of understanding.

Before choosing any niches, you must bear in mind that there are billions of customers within your reach online and they are looking out online to do or accomplish one or two or all of the three things I listed here;

1. to accomplish something,
2. to buy something,
3. for help solving a problem.

You only need to target one of these group of people and this becomes your niche.

What is a ‘Niche’? – The Simplest and Practical Definition.

A ‘Niche’ is simply referred to a, ‘a group of people’. And this group of people are looking for something specific that they are commonly interested in.

This group of people are identified into three different categories.

  • A group of people that have the common interest in accomplishing something specific.
  • A group of people that are commonly interested and looking to buy something specific.
  • A group of people that are commonly seeking help to solve a specific problem.

If you can identify the specific need for one of these group, you will be able to chose a very profitable and targeted niche.

Let me give you a short scenario to tie all the examples of niches that I included below.

Someone walks into a Supermarket looking for advice on “how to improve their shooting skills in basketball game”.

The source of information at the supermarket is too broad and general and cannot be trusted and fulfilling their specific need. Instead if they walk into a store that is specialized on the game of basketball, the experience they get would be completely different.

When you think of what to choose for your niche, DO NOT think of this imaginary and confusing word “niche”, think instead of a group of people in search for a specific reason.

The worst and silly mistake you can make is by choosing a niche that is too broad. You don’t want your niche to be too broad. The problem about having a niche that is too broad is, you won’t have a target group to market and you won’t have authority. It is like you are promoting Super Market to someone who is looking for information on how to improve their shooting skills in the game of basketball.

I am outlining below some perfect examples under each of the group to help you understand and choose a very targeted niche.
